Here is an Ashenda coloring page for you to print and color yourself or with your kids. What is Ashenda? Ashenda, religiously known as Ashenda Mariam (Tigrinya: ኣሸንዳ) is a festival celebrated mainly in Tigray Region among Tigrayan girls.  It is typically celebrated between 16–26 August every year. Its length varies from three days to one month depending on the locale (shorter in urban areas, longer in rural areas).

There is currently a genocide happening in Tigray. I made this artwork both to raise awareness and also to show the beauty of the Tegaru people.  To learn more about the genocide go to the @omnatigray  and follow them on whatever social media you prefer.  They will provide much more insight, about what is happening in Tigray. Make sure you follow them, to stay informed about what is happening.

As you color raise awareness and cry out to God for the Tigray people.

Amazing art work suitable both for hanging at a wall decoration and to enable children/adults to color designs based on their coloring needs. Thank you Bethany!

  2. Tex

Great work to create awareness about the genocide happening in Tigray, particularly the mass rape happening against Tigrayan women and girls .
